Intern's Diary: Impressions After the First Month at Astana Hub Bootcamp 2.0, Part 1

The first half of the program has flown by, and I have something to share with you. This post will be in a pseudo-interview format, and I hope you, readers, will find it interesting.

What was your first encounter with the program?

I remember my frustration with the internship requirements. Do I only need a diploma? Maybe I'm used to always being required to meet the "perfect candidate" profile that the company builds based on its fantasies 🤷‍♀️. So, after some thought and deciding I had nothing to lose, I still submitted my application.

How is the internship going?

I think other interns would answer this question differently. I can say that I have "integrated" into my team quite quickly. The tasks here are not particularly difficult but require dedication and responsibility. While I'm here, I feel that I am making some contribution to my office's work, yet there is no pressure from my mentor or HR.

What are your relationships with other interns like?

I don't want to be sentimental, but I will miss them ❤️‍🩹. I never liked hanging out in large companies, but our guys are an exception. Overall, we have a great company that can be envied.

Do you like Astana Hub?

I liked it even before the program. When I was a student, I often came to the Hub for various events. Now, it's nice to be not a guest but a part of it. It's interesting to see the Hub from the other side of the boat. And it's even more interesting to get to greet the employees, although it's not easy for me.

In conclusion, I'm glad that despite my initial skepticism, I decided to apply for the program. Let's see if my opinion about the bootcamp will change in the second half of the internship 🤔.

In any case, wait for the second part in a month ;)
