NIS student became a prize-winner of the International Olympiad in Computer Science

Akezhan Askar from Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Semey won a silver medal at the 36th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI - 2025), which was held in Sucre, Bolivia.

This year, about 400 schoolchildren from 98 countries took part in one of the most prestigious intellectual competitions. The participants solved complex algorithmic problems and developed software solutions. All tasks were evaluated by an automated system.

It is worth noting that Kazakhstan has been participating in the International Olympiad in Informatics since 1999 and has consistently been among the countries with a strong team over the past few years. This achievement is a reason for pride and confirms the high level of training of our participants.

Congratulations to Akezhan on his outstanding result and wish him further success and new heights!
