The results of the international competition "Caspian Start-Up – 2024", which has become a significant event for the innovative community of the region, have been summed up in Aktau. The participants of the final round presented their IT startups, focusing on the topic "Innovative ideas in solving environmental problems". In total, 215 applications were received for the competition, of which 16 best projects were selected for the final stage.

Mangystau Hub held a master class for the participants of the startup competition and, together with the sponsors, determined the finalists. The final stage was also attended by participants from Kostanay, Kyzylorda and Turkestan, representing their regional hubs.

The Aktau NICHE team with the ResQ project became the winner of the international competition "Caspian Start-Up-2024". The students were awarded a full grant from the Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yesenova.

Students from the NICHES of the city of Uralsk with the project "Tazalyq" took the deserved second place.

The bronze award was given to the project "Q-Agro" from the city of Kyzylorda, aimed at solving problems in animal husbandry.

Students from various regions and countries were also awarded grants and special discounts for studying at leading universities in the region.

The sponsor of the contest is IT Holding "Ozimiz.kz "The Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemical and Biological Sciences of Shymkent presented the Plastikaiensis team with a cash prize in the amount of 100,000 tenge. In addition, 50,000 tenge were awarded to the participants of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Chemical and Biological Sciences of Almaty "FilterAirN" and the team of the Turkestan NIS "Afeya".

The Caspian Start-Up competition is an author's project of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktau, which began its journey in 2018 with the participation of many innovative projects and continues to develop actively, confirming its importance in the development of innovative entrepreneurship.

The partnership event with the Nazarbayev Intellectual School highlighted the importance of cooperation in supporting talented young entrepreneurs and developing Kazakhstan's startup ecosystem.
