StartUp Academy: TikTok and Astana Hub Sum Up Results of Educational Initiative for Startups

TikTok, in partnership with Central Asia’s largest technology park, Astana Hub, summed up the results of the large-scale educational program TikTok StartUp Academy, held for the third year in a row. The project helps startups gain new knowledge in digital marketing and fully realize the potential of TikTok as a platform for business promotion and growth. This year, it brought together startups from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

TikTok and Astana Hub discussed a partnership to develop digital marketing among startups in Central Asia. Representatives of TikTok arrived in Astana for a working visit and visited a number of organizations. The CEO of the technology park welcomed the partners, gave them a tour, and acquainted them with the activities of the technology park and its participants.

According to the jury's decision, the prizes were taken by Robotek, Arnionkz and Macdent.

The best nine startups got funding for promotion in TikTok.

218 startups attended an exclusive educational program, TikTok StartUp Academy, organized by the Astana Hubin in partnership with the TikTok platform. 9 startups received grants to promote their products in TikTok up to $49,000.

Astana Hub, together with TikTok, launched the first educational program for Kazakhstani startups, TikTok StartUp Academy in Kazakhstan. Representatives from 218 startups will learn how to succeed on the platform and draw the community's attention to their product as a part of the Academy. The top TikTok StartUp Academy students will get grants of up to $10,000.
