Top 10 IT startups identified in Kazakhstan
The Best IT Startups Rating is an annual nationwide list of the best Kazakhstani IT startups that develop innovative and technologically advanced products and services and solve important problematic issues in the market. The rating allows you to identify successful players among domestic IT startups in the market, stimulate the development of IT entrepreneurship and determine the vector for the development of innovations in Kazakhstan.
List of the best startups:
OrionM2M - IoT devices, software for energy efficient networks in LoRaWAN standards;
Cerebra - a system that allows, using computed tomography images at an early stage, to determine the degree of stroke in a person using an artificial intelligence system;
Citrix is an intelligent transport information and navigation system for a comfortable stay of a person in the city;
Clockster - HR for micro, small and medium businesses, helps clients increase discipline, reduce lost profits, automate the creation of work schedules and improve internal communications.
OKOO is an online educational platform for schools that helps teachers to better conduct computer science lessons and make the learning process interesting for children;
Campeat is an AI-powered marketing platform designed for businesses to increase off-peak hourly traffic and boost in-store sales.
i-GUARD is the next generation video analytics solution. The system provides intelligent analysis of space and detection of "emergency" situations in real time;
Supermomsclub.app is a mobile application for pregnant women that helps reduce the risk of infant mortality and manage pregnancy properly.
QuantDART is a regulated, secure and innovative digital asset management platform in Eurasia.
Paloma365 is a cloud service for automating control, sales accounting and warehouse for catering, trade and services.
The competition jury included well-known IT entrepreneurs, venture investors and business angels: Olga Afanasyeva (UVC), Murat Abdrakhmanov, Anuar Seifullin (Quest Ventures), Sanzhar Suleymanov (Tech Garden Ventures), Artashes Grigoryan (Centras Ventures), Mirat Akhmetsadykov (MOST) Ventures), Serik
Shakarim (Seedstars Kazakhstan), Taras Volobuev (AIFC Fintech), Dias Kazhakhmetov (QazTech Ventures).
The project partners are such companies as Tech Garden Ventures, UVCA, Seedstars Kazakhstan, Centras, AIFC Fintech, MOST Business Incubator, Central Asian Business Angels Club, QazTech Ventures, Quest Ventures. Media partner of the project, the first and largest online publication in Ukraine dedicated to the private equity and venture investment market InVenture.
Recall that the startups included in the rating will have the opportunity to tell about their project throughout Kazakhstan and beyond, become part of the Astana Hub community, get access to 100 or more investors. The top 10 startups will receive one-on-one mentorship with recommendations on fundraising from Seedstars Kazakhstan, as well as a selective invitation to an investment day.
In addition, startups OrionM2M, Cerebra and Citrix will receive special gifts from partners and organizers.
