Aibolat Kulatay and his partner, after establishing a prosperous outsourcing company focused on mobile development, opted to launch a startup subsequent to Kantar. Bauyrzhan Rustemov, the founder and CEO of Relog startup, characterizes himself as a «Black belt in delivery optimization.» The logistics automation project he leads aids businesses in minimizing delivery time and cutting down on transportation costs. With a valuation of $20 million, Relog has secured investments from Timur Turlov and Margulan Seisenbay. The startup boasts an impressive portfolio of clients, including Coca-Cola, Sulpak, Metro, Johnson & Johnson, and Zeta. Currently, Relog serves over 300 clients. As part of the collaborative initiative between Digital Business and Astana Hub, «100 Startup Stories of Kazakhstan,» Bauyrzhan shared insights into the value that Relog brings to its clients, outlined plans for international market expansion, and discussed challenges faced while working with B2G in Kazakhstan.
Astana Hub is moving towards establishing a "green" office by implementing environmental standards among startups in partnership with ECO Network. The collaboration is based on an innovative approach to conducting business called ESG, which stands for Environment, Social, Governance. The essence of this approach is to reorganize company operations in a way that does not harm the environment.
The first stage of the international social leadership program Beginit by inDrive has started. In six regions of Kazakhstan, 10th-grade students were selected who will learn to implement social projects from the idea to launch. With the support of regional IT hubs and provincial administrations, about a thousand applications were collected. The most active participants were children from the Karaganda and Kostanay regions.
