An Economist Created a Startup That Makes the Real Estate Market Transparent. Here’s How the Service Works
Akmal Bakhronov comes from the small Uzbek city of Navoi. Before launching his startup, he tried himself in various traditional businesses, including a cleaning service and a small print shop. But Akmal was always drawn to technological solutions. Soon, by chance, he entered the IT field and began creating products for the real estate market. This led to the creation of UYSOT, an ecosystem that represents a digital database of developers. It provides transparency for buyers and better control of assets and finances for sellers. For the joint Digital Business and Astana Hub project “100 Startup Stories of Central Asia”, Akmal shared insights about how developers work in Uzbekistan, the importance of digital solutions for real estate, and his plans to enter the Kazakh and MENA markets.
