The opening of a joint Innovation Hub with Saudi Arabia in Riyadh will be a major expansion to support the international promotion of regional IT solutions and startups in global markets.
Bagdat Mussin, the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, recently took part and delivered a speech at the LEAP Digital Forum in Riyadh. The forum saw the representation of Kazakh companies such as the international technology park Astana Hub and National Information Technologies JSC.
The capital of Qatar, Doha, hosted the annual large-scale event, Web Summit, one of the largest events in the world of innovation and technology. The international technology park, Astana Hub, participated in the conference and presented eight promising startups as part of the Web Summit Startup Program.
The work of the board was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Chief of Staff of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Bagdat Musin, heads and employees of departments of the ministry and subordinate organizations. General Director Magzhan Madiev spoke about the results of the activities of the international technology park Astana Hub.
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have been rapidly developing their IT sectors in recent years. In Kazakhstan, the IT sector has witnessed remarkable growth in exports, with figures skyrocketing from $50mn in 2020 to over $500mn in 2023.
As part of the further activation of Kazakh-Portuguese bilateral cooperation, meetings took place between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Portugal, Daulet Batrashev, and the leadership of the TagusPark Science and Technology Park, represented by Eduardo Baptista, as well as the Portuguese Entrepreneurs Association (AEP), represented by Paulo Vazhem.

In collaboration with Astana Hub, Servercore is offering a program to support the startups hosted at the hub. As part of the program, a 100,000 tenge bonus will be added to the Servercore control panel balance monthly throughout the first six months of cooperation between the tech park residents and the provider.
