We invite you to take part in the republican hackathon "AMANAT TECH"! The hackathon is aimed at developing IT solutions to combat drug addiction and supporting innovative projects of novice startups.
23 startups successfully completed the acceleration program at Astana Hub, focused on supporting and accelerating exports. Over a four-month period, participants learned skills for product export, selecting target markets, and launching sales. During the accelerator, they secured initial export contracts with companies from the UAE, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Austria, Germany, and Russia, totaling over 90 million tenge.
The IT industry in our country has undergone a significant transformation, opening up new possibilities. Currently, individuals have the chance to enhance their professions and test their skills in emerging fields. In this context, Tech Orda, a program that provides free education and facilitates entry into prominent national companies, has played a distinctive role. One of the program participants, 29-year-old Zhandos Sapargazy, has redirected his life towards a new trajectory through his involvement in the program. As a result, he has successfully transitioned from temporary work to a significant position in a leading bank.
In the West Kazakhstan region, a distinctive leadership program for young people has commenced. This initiative grants rural high school students the opportunity to participate in an educational course focusing on social leadership and project activities. Additionally, they can compete for grants at a new, innovative university.
Qalan.kz is a service for learning math in Kazakh and Russian languages. On this online platform, students solve tasks with the assistance of a chatbot based on AI and real teachers. Upon successfully completing a task, students receive remuneration. The project is currently operational in multiple countries, reaching over 325 thousand individuals. Its creators are school teacher Askar Bolat and programmer Kuanysh Nabiyev. As part of the Digital Business and Astana Hub’s collaborative initiative, “100 Startup Stories of Kazakhstan,” they elaborated on the program’s functionality, AI’s role, the uniqueness of the product, and its potential for international market expansion.
How do you go about purchasing something you can’t see or touch, especially if it’s a significant investment? Take, for instance, an apartment in a residential complex that hasn’t commenced construction yet. Madi Medet and his team are spearheading a qMeta startup in Kazakhstan that specializes in creating lifelike 3D models of apartment buildings for construction companies. Even during the excavation stage of a residential complex, prospective residents can utilize VR glasses to explore the property and navigate through their future apartments. What prompts the necessity for such technologies in construction companies, and in what ways can model engineering be automated? The founder of qMeta delved into these insights during an interview for the collaborative project between Digital Business and Astana Hub, titled “100 Startup Stories of Kazakhstan”.

The winners of the Republican Championship in Sports Robotics, KazRoboSport-2023, have been determined. During this competition, robots controlled by their developers competed in traditional Kazakh sports and games such as "asyq atu," "arqan tartys," "aq súyek," and Japanese sumo. A total of 214 participants from 20 regions of the country took part in the finals.

Each student is provided with a grant of up to 600,000 tenge, offering unique opportunities for professional growth.
