Within the framework of the International Technology Forum “Digital Almaty: Digital Partnership in the New Reality”, the traditional Annual Award of Excellence in Digitalization was awarded.
Several focused thematic events are being held as part of the V International Digital Forum “Digital Almaty 2023”.
On February 2 at the Digital Almaty 2023 Forum, Astana Hub - an International Technopark for IT startups signed a number of memorandums on the development of human capital and the IT startups ecosystem.
A four-party agreement was signed on February 2 at the forum by the Payment and Financial Technologies Development Centre of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Binance Kazakhstan Technologies Ltd, International Technopark IT start-ups Astana Hub, and the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Bagdat Mussin spoke at the Opening Ceremony of the International Digital Forum “Digital Almaty-2023”.
On February 2, The V International Digital Forum “Digital Almaty: Digital Partnership in a New Reality” began its work in Almaty.
Kazakhstan remains the first and only country in Central Asia to launch an accelerator with the global company Google for Startups. Given the effectiveness and high performance of last year's two batch of the joint Silkway Accelerator program, Google for Startups has decided to continue its exclusive partnership with Astana Hub in 2023.
Astana Hub, the largest international technology park for IT startups in Central Asia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Presight.ai, a G42 company, and the leading UAE-based Big Data Analytics and AI company, to power venture financing deals for startups.
In 2022, Astana Hub implemented the IT Startup Mentor program for ambitious youth in Kazakhstan. Of the 105 participants, 25 continued their internships outside the program, and five graduates received job offers.
Within the framework of Digital Almaty: Digital Partnership in a New Reality International Technology Forum, a ceremony will be held conferring traditional annual awards for outstanding achievements in the field of digitalization. According to the Republic of Kazakhstan Ministry for Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry, taking part in awarding the winners will be the heads of government of the EAEU member countries.
