Hero Training 2026: Applications Now Open for the International Accelerator at Draper University

Astana Hub, in partnership with IT Park Uzbekistan, announces the opening of applications for the fifth cohort of the Hero Training acceleration program, delivered in collaboration with Draper University. This year, 11 startups from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, and Azerbaijan will be selected to participate in the program.

A dynamically developing artificial intelligence startup ecosystem has emerged in Kazakhstan. More than 100 AI startups are currently operating in the country, while the volume of venture investment in AI projects increased more than fivefold between 2023 and 2025 — from approximately $14 million to $73 million. As a result, AI now accounts for more than half of all venture investments in Kazakhstan.
