From drones that record traffic accidents within minutes to platforms that decode medical test results — artificial intelligence startups were showcased in Astana.
The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan has officially opened the call for applications for the Tech Orda 2025 educational program. This initiative offers Kazakhstani citizens aged 18 to 45 the opportunity to receive free training in high-demand IT professions.
Three engineers from Almaty have gone from IT outsourcing to creating a global product that could change the approach to business digitalization. Ruslan Kurkebayev, Bauyrzhan Aitileu, and Erzhan Beisenbayev developed Axellero.io — a low-code platform with an AI assistant that allows complex business applications to be built in days instead of months. After acceleration in Silicon Valley and raising investment from Astana Hub Ventures, the team is preparing for global scaling.
Astana is preparing to become a global hub for the international tech community as it hosts Digital Bridge 2025, the largest event in Central Asia dedicated to digital technologies, startups, and artificial intelligence. The international forum will take place from October 2 to 4, 2025, and is organized by the Astana Hub International Innovation Cluster, in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of Astana.

Parents of children with developmental disabilities face an endless cycle of doctors, anxiety, and difficulties. The international ranking by StartupBlink, which evaluates startup ecosystems around the world, has once again confirmed Kazakhstan’s leadership in Central Asia. The country ranked first in the region and strengthened its position globally by entering the top 75 startup ecosystems worldwide.
In the Zhangjiang Science and Technology Park, known as the “Silicon Valley of Asia”, the official opening ceremony of the Khan Tengri Innovation Hub took place. This is the first dedicated platform aimed at integrating the technological potential of Central Eurasian countries with the ecosystem of China, the world’s second-largest economy.

Kazakhstani startup ARLAN BIOTECH, a resident of Astana Hub, took second place and received €30,000 at the prestigious international Supernova Challenge competition. The event was held as part of GITEX Europe 2025, one of Europe’s largest technology exhibitions. The event brought together more than 40,000 participants from over 100 countries and became a key platform for showcasing advanced solutions in innovation, venture investment, and technological entrepreneurship.
