The technology park has compiled a unique "short list" of the best Kazakhstani startups.
Tech Orda is a program for financing private IT schools in Kazakhstan by the MCRIAP RK and Astana Hub. It is aimed at preparing IT specialists. Each student is provided with a grant of up to 600,000 tenge and offers unique opportunities for professional growth. Graduates of this project in the Abay region shared their impressions of the training and talked about how they applied the knowledge gained in practice.
The qualifying round for the social leadership and project activity course "Beginit by inDrive" took place in the East Kazakhstan region. The initiative, supported by Astana Hub and Oskemen IT Hub, aims to help young people unlock their potential and develop skills to create innovative solutions in the social sphere of the region.
In collaboration with the international technopark Astana Hub, the youth wing of the AMANAT party, "Zhastar Rukhy," successfully conducted the national hackathon AMANAT TECH. Over 80 participants aged between 16 and 35 presented innovative approaches to combating drug addiction and the spread of narcotics as part of the project "Esirtkige zhol zhoq".
Glovo's CEO Oscar Pierre visited Kazakhstan for the first time and met with representatives of the country's IT community at the international technopark Astana Hub. During the meeting, he shared the history of his company's formation and discussed the experiences and nuances of running a startup.

More and more startups from Kyrgyzstan are choosing Kazakhstan as a strategic direction for the development of their projects. Examples include companies such as NBfit, Codify, Smart Technologies, and Mystory, which have successfully gone through the accelerator program at Astana Hub. They are not only scaling their activities in the Kazakhstani market but are also successfully attracting investments and entering international markets.
According to tax legislation, the supply of equipment that does not meet the criteria of own production does not qualify for tax incentives. Participants of the techpark need to adhere to the established rules to avoid negative consequences.
After completing college, Alan Ibraim pursued university studies in Marketing but did not complete the degree. Unfortunately, his education was interrupted when his father passed away unexpectedly. Alan took on the responsibility of providing for his mother, who was a housewife, and his two younger sisters. At the age of 18, he commenced his career as a Marketing Assistant at Sakura Motors. This marked the beginning of Alan’s 22-year journey in marketing, during which he ascended to the position of CEO and co-founder of the company, now one of the largest sellers of internet advertisement in Kazakhstan.
